RUBI is an evidence-based, parent empowerment program designed to decrease challenging behaviors in children exhibiting symptoms consistent with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and related differences.

RUBI is a good fit for children: (1) between the ages of 3 and 17, (2) exhibiting 

challenging behaviors such as;

-   Aggression (hitting, kicking, biting),  

- Meltdowns,  Screaming or yelling, 

- Difficulties following instructions 

- Challenges with daily routines, transitions, or other behaviors that impact daily life 

 RUBI is NOT a good fit for parents with children who...

- Are unable to understand simple one-step instructions (e.g., “Hand me the toy.”, “Sit on the chair.”) 

 - Need interventions that focus only on increasing skills (e.g., language skills, play skills, social skills)  

 - Have more serious challenging behaviors where people have gotten seriously hurt
