Are you looking to foster self-awareness, improve social skills, strengthen self-concept, and/or fine-tune self-regulation?
- I offer couples and family counseling, as well as individual and group counseling.
- With a practice in rural Maine, I see clients struggling with every type of mental health concern including anxiety, depression and anger management.
Specialties
- As a therapist with 30 years of advanced, clinical experience, I specialize in trauma treatment, providing a combination of cognitive-behavioral and depth therapy based on my published research and on the most recent scholarly literature.
- Experiential Counseling for Children and Teens Who Don't Respond Well to Traditional Talk therapy.
- For parents with children under the age of 15, diagnosed with Autism, ADHD or ODD, I provide RUBI training; a well-researched model that individualizes applied behavioral analysis to meet the individualized needs of families.
- A Parenting-Reset Intensive, designed for rapid change in families facing conflict, is also available via telehealth or in your home.
Many adults seek counseling when they feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, stress, relationship problems, or life transitions. I specialize in depth-oriented adult therapy, including:
- Identity work and life transitions

Assessments and Evaluations
I provide comprehensive assessments, targeted assessments and a professional evaluation suitable for youth and adults.
- Develop useful treatment plans and IEP's
- Provide documentation for court-ordered cases.
I am in-network for most insurances and can provide a superbill for my out-of-network clients.
Session fees are $125 per clinical hr. for self-pay clients.
